Task: Facilitate a directional redesign and product test of the virtual reality ‘rubenoid’ avatars towards a more desirable, mature and comfortable aesthetic while keeping that aesthetic out of the uncanny valley (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uncanny_valley). The team developed new characters and we product-tested them to gauge comfort levels. Displayed here are facial, body, hair, hands and clothing explorations. Both VR and moble AR.
